So today (5th December) I had to give a presentation about my project. I think it went well and the lecturers (Jim Prime and Holly Tessler) understood where the project was coming from. Even saying that it was brave of me to make it about myself and my father. So there's that, they commented on how my theoretical underpinning needed to be stronger so that's something I'll have to have another look at over the coming months. Overall, they seemed to be happy with what I was planning on doing. Especially the part about having visual aids in the form of pictures and drawings. They seemed surprised that I was going to be performing all parts of the EP apart from vocals. When they asked me if I was perhaps putting too much on myself I told them that if anything it would makes things easier as there would be less people to have to organise times and places etc and I could play the parts exactly as I envisioned them to be.
So with the presentation done, I'm quite happy, as speaking about it and having to give a cohesive plan to my lecturers about everything has allowed to organise what needs to be done.
